- 1.5 litres water
- 6 tsp black tea
- ½ tsp saffron (approx. 25 strands)
- 4 cardamom pods
- Sugar or honey to taste
Bring the water to the boil. Add saffron and cardamom (only previously crushed seeds). Simmer for 8 minutes. Turn off the heat, add the tea and leave to stand for 5 minutes. Strain and serve.
